Chris Bray
Chris Bray retired as a 36-year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department with 29
of those years as a sergeant. In his career he has worked in Patrol, Traffic,
Training and Investigations. He has spent twenty one years as an investigative
supervisor in the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Bureaus working over
six years in the Gang Enforcement Unit and over fifteen years in Vice
Enforcement. He has worked on four US Department of Justice initiatives
relating to Violent Street Gangs, Internet Crimes Against Children, Human
Trafficking and Child Prostitution.
He retired while assigned to the Vice Enforcement Unit where he supervised
investigations into Human Trafficking, Child Sex Trafficking, Illegal Enterprises
and Money Laundering. He is a subject matter expert on Human Trafficking for
Arizona POST and California POST. He is also a private consultant that
provides advanced level training for specialty investigations. He has provided
training to local, state, federal and international law enforcement agencies and
Judiciary, as well as social service providers across the United States. He is a
graduate of Northern Arizona University and is a contributing author on the topic
of Human Trafficking.
Chris Bray is a past member of the board of directors for the Arizona Anti-
Trafficking Network. AATN is a collaborative network of organizations working to
stop Human Trafficking in Arizona. The purpose of this network is to leverage
the efforts of area stakeholders to fight trafficking, raise statewide awareness,
support victims, support legislative change, and raise funds to more effectively
serve the needs of those engaged to combat human trafficking.
